Tech shit and internet thoughts will live here

4/13

i wish i could say i'm writing this with a cup of coffee at my side, but i've been too lazy this sunday morning to make one. spent the morning trying to get up on a site build out. also thinking about coding itself. it's hilarious to me that i became a developer at a time when people don't need coders anymore! fuck ai for real. i have decided that i will never us ai for this site in any way or form.

i like coding on neocities because i can do it on my ipad or even my phone if i have to. but if i was gonna switch to git again there isn't an easy way to do that natively on mobile though i guess i could connect to a server and run shit remotely... i'll look into it, but it's not high on my list. i do find myself saving things that i need to change on the site until i get onto my macbook like writing css or changing anything in the layout.

why don't I just code on my macbook all the time? i should, i do like my macbook, it's a 2018 with a terabyte of storage, but it's 13-inches and my ipad is so much tinier and easier to carry around and i tend to carry everything with me since i don't have a car. my brother gave me his smaller mac because he likes his thinkpad but i don't have anything set up on it.

i would really like to add rss onto the site, i think that's a really interesting thing that i had never even thought about until i joined neocities. the only reason i thought about moving to github is because i would like to make into a pwa to cache content but maybe i can do that without turning it into a pwa? yet more things to look into!
