Where did the name sevendevils come from?

Seven Devils is a town in North Carolina in both Avery and Wautaga county. I found the name while doing a magazine quiz (i know, i'm a fucking dork). It's actually not a scary place and it doesn't have any terrifying lore, it's just a name they decided was unique and eye catching. In Christian mythology Jesus cast seven devils out of Mary Magdalene.

How is this different from the zine?

(would like to point out that a zine can be anything, there's no rules. that's why i'm saying "the zine" and not "a zine" to denote that i'm refering to a specific zine, in this case Vaga Bandi)

i don't think i'll write as much about personal life shit as i do in my zine, i'd like to focus on project notes and documenting doing-seeing things instead of thinking-feeling things if that makes sense. for example i'll write about the process of writing a zine but i won't post the actual content of the zine, which is usually super intimate and weird. i've been feeling really inspired by so many of my friends making very cool indie sites, and just seeing the sites in the neocities gallery and on freakscene inspires me so much, i'd love to do something like that too! also zines take so much time but writing a blog can be very quick, comparatively. i hope i can make something that is fun, playful, and a good snapshot of my practice and the shit i'm into.
